ADVISOR

As a ReedsBay Advisory Board member, Ravi provides deep development & construction expertise to the firm. Ravi is a premier general contractor that honed his skills building over 1 million square feet in the nation’s most challenging development markets. He provides ReedsBay invaluable access to timely information and insights that strengthen the firm’s investment analysis and underwriting capabilities. Also, as a founder, Ravi provides a wealth of business insights that are additive to ReedsBay’s entrepreneurial culture.

Ravi is co-founded Citistructure with Ken Deriggi in March of 2001. Under his leadership as Managing Partner, the company has completed over $250 million of construction throughout New York and New Jersey.

Ravi developed a passion for building in college. His early career began as an assistant project engineer for the Rehabilitation of Hudson Street in the summer of 1993. After graduating, he became a project engineer for the $40 million Union Square Subway Station Rehabilitation, which paved the way for him to spearhead other high-notoriety projects such as the $65 million Grand Central Subway Station, the West Chester County Courthouse Rehabilitation, and Baruch College at 55 Lexington Avenue.

Ravi broadened his skill set by leading corporate interior fit-outs for Alliance Capital, Oppenheimer Capital, Blank Rome, Accenture, LVMH, Avon, Macquarie Holdings, Cushman Wakefield, SL Green, Newmark Reality, and various investment, law, and retail firms, in addition to real estate owner-operators.

Citistructure’s impressive resume includes 100,000SF buildings across property types: corporate, luxury residential, and high-end retail. Marquee clients include: WL Ross, US Secret Service, Internal Revenue Service, GSA, NYC Transit, Met Life, Jacobs Engineering, CNN, Turner Broadcasting, Wachovia Bank, Elie Tehari, Samaritan Daytop Village, Metropolitan Lighthouse Charter School, NYC DDC, Jacob Javitz Center and residential projects for which Citistructure is both developer and builder.

In addition to running Citistructure, Ravi is heavily involved in many non-profit organizations and philanthropic endeavors: He is a Managing Director of Privilege to Serve; a board member of McCloud Cares; an Ambassador for The Miracle Foundation; and a Trustee of The Haverford School.

Ravi holds a BS in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, a MS in Civil Engineering from Polytechnic/NYU University, and a Certificate in Construction from NYU.
