Todd Lippiatt

Principal

Todd Lippiatt is a Principal at ReedsBay, serving as an equity partner and voting member of the Investment Committee. Mr. Lippiatt brings extensive chief executive and founder experience from boutique principal investment firms specializing in real estate credit strategies, coupled with a strong track record across diverse markets.

 

A problem-solver by nature, Mr. Lippiatt’s solution-oriented approach places him at the forefront of efforts to enhance transaction efficiency in the commercial real estate sector. He leads the firm’s servicing and asset management capabilities, which consistently attract premier investment partners and project sponsors. Over several investment cycles, his disciplined approach has demonstrated an ability to meet investor expectations and deliver consistent principal returns, irrespective of market volatility.

 

Prior to joining ReedsBay, Mr. Lippiatt was Managing Partner of Aristone Realty Capital, a private real estate lender that originated over $400 million in structured credit investments, which he founded in 2006. He also served as CEO and Founder of Propellr, a direct-to-consumer investment platform and digital merchant bank that pioneered the tokenization of regulated real estate offerings in Manhattan. His white paper on the subject remains widely cited and incorporated into university curricula.

 

Earlier in his career, Mr. Lippiatt held roles at Morgan Stanley, where he led Adjustable Rate Mortgage Trading, as well as at Credit Suisse and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ).

 

He completed graduate-level coursework in Biochemistry at Columbia University and holds BA in Economics, Philosophy, and Computer Science from Brown University.
