David also serves as President of Eyzenberg & Company, a New York-based investment bank delivering full capital stack solutions for existing, transitional, and development-stage commercial real estate projects. With offices in New York, Washington D.C., Miami, and Philadelphia, Eyzenberg & Company is among the fastest-growing real estate capital advisory firms in the United States.
In parallel with his professional activities, David is a senior faculty member at the New York University Schack Institute of Real Estate and has taught in NYU’s Stern School of Business and the University of Miami’s MBA programs.
Prior to founding Eyzenberg & Company, David was a Principal and U.S. lead for the real estate capital raising practice at Avison Young, overseeing a multi-office team that consummated well over $1 billion in financing transactions. His earlier experience includes leadership roles at NewOak Capital, where he headed commercial real estate investment banking, and Prodigious Capital Group, where he served as President. David began his real estate career on the buy-side with Merrill Lynch, Ramius Capital Group, and Greenstreet Partners.
He is an active member of multiple industry associations, a frequent speaker at real estate conferences, and serves on several advisory and corporate boards.
David earned both a BA in Communications and an MS in Real Estate Finance and Investment from New York University.
